Natural Bases

Learning about natural bases and how minimal makeup can go a long way for a completley natural look.

There are many different natural looks that can be achieved when it comes to makeup.

·         The BASE is the key thing to a natural look whether you are trying to achieve a glossy or matte natural look.
·         Moisturiser or primer is vital for the glossy dewy satin effect.
·         You want to keep the makeup to a minimum.
·         It is important to colour match the foundation to the neck or chest.
·         Target the blemishes with concealer rather than using thick coverage on the whole face.

To achieve a more dewy look we need to include some kind of moisturizer in the foundation where as for a more matt natural look we have to powder or blot the skin carefully in the areas that are naturally more oily such as the T zone of the face

Cleansing toning and moisturizing the face to prepare

applying concealer onto small blemishes, dark circles remembering to let freckles come through we dont want to cover them.

Brushing the eyebrows up and putting a light brush of a natural lip colour

The cheeks can have a natural rose to them already if not we could add a touch of blush
The idea of this look is to not let any make up be seen, as if the model is not wearing any.
