Looking at Illamasqua as a brand in comparison to Revlon they are both very different but there are some similarities such as they both use very pigmented colours in their cosmetics. Illamasqua is about having no boundaries and restrictions in makeup appealing to anyone and everyone, it is makeup 'for your alter ego'.
The range is very bold in long lasting colours and pigments. The brand started back in 2008 as a playful theatrical "combination of illusion and masquerade" and has grown to be very successful in the makeup industry. It is completely unique and different to any other brands and has started a new generation of makeup.
